Heather is extremely knowledgeable, skillful, motivating, and fun!  Each session is different and well planned and exercises every single muscle. Never is it too little or too much. My balance is already better, and I feel stronger. I recommend her to anyone who has had an injury or just wants to get in better shape. Heather is a consummate professional.

Working with Heather, I received individual attention and guidance on proper form while using equipment, custom exercise modifications to account for my old injuries, and a fun and supportive environment to get into shape.

I recommend working with her if you get the opportunity!

After one of my recent marathons I had an AIS session with Heather. My recovery wouldn't have been nearly as fast without her expertise!

Over the years I have gone to Heather for Pilates, TRX, Barre classes and for AIS stretching. I have loved all of my sessions with her! They each have helped me to develop strength, improve my balance, and overall fitness. Heather makes sure to watch your form so you aren't going to hurt yourself while trying something new and she makes even the toughest exercises fun!  She takes the time to learn your goals, and also to watch how your body responds to the movements so she can adjust them for your individual needs. If you haven't taken a class or stretching session with Heather yet, sign up now! You won't regret it!

I have been a pilates client of Heather's for over 4 years. She is awesome! The workouts she designs are always challenging, customized to your specific needs, high energy and fun. Heather is very knowledgable about the body and is able to adapt exercises not only for injury, but also for body proportions. As a taller individual, I greatly appreciate her ability to acknowledge that some exercises simply may not work for some people and adapt accordingly.

I’ve known Heather for 6 years now and have been wanting to try Pilates, but surgery kept getting in the way. With EDS, I’ve been very limited. No impact, no running, no kettlebell, no sports, no group classes... I have gone to PT since I was 12 years old. I got to work with a well-trained and very knowledgeable kind friend to strengthen my body without feeling “like a patient.” She noticed during my very first session that my left ankle is “wonky.” I sprained it when I was 10, and now it dislocates just trying to roll over in bed... having bigger fish to fry, I’ve never even addressed that ankle with a doctor. While having pleasant conversation, I see her intently watching how my body was moving. She said, “what’s going on with that ankle” and pointed to it... I couldn’t believe how quickly and accurately she assessed ALL my body’s weird quirks and made adjustments as I followed her instructions. ⁣

I can’t wait to go back to see her and I highly recommend doing something for yourself if you’ve been putting it off... your body needs you as much as you need it. “Put your own oxygen mask on first.” THANK YOU!
